Two wooden cabins in the Bieszczady mountains, rented whole
We are Magdalena and Łukasz. We rent two cabins in Bukowiec, a hamlet at the end of the road in the Polish Bieszczady mountains, where the Cieśniańsko-Wetliński Landscape Park begins. Each cabin is let to one group at a time — no reception, no neighbour through the wall, no holiday village.
The two cabins
Urocza chata — the larger one. Eleven beds, nine people comfortably in three bedrooms, two living rooms, one bathroom. A Finnish sauna opens onto the terrace and is included in the price when you book with us directly. From 550 zł per night for four people, 50 zł for each additional person.
Domek na górze — the smaller one, higher up. Six beds, four people comfortably, two bedrooms upstairs, a balcony facing the ridges. From 345 zł per night for four people.
Both are heated, open all year, and take dogs (150 zł per animal). Firewood for the stove and the fire pit is included, and so is the final cleaning — we do not add a cleaning fee at checkout.
Why book directly
Booking.com and Airbnb charge a commission, and it is in the price you see there. Booking with us costs 10–20% less for exactly the same cabin, and in Urocza chata the sauna stops being a paid extra — portals charge 150 zł per night for it.
We take a deposit for one night up front, by bank transfer. The rest is paid on arrival. You will find the same calendar and the same availability as the portals see, because they all read from one source.
What you can do from here
This is the part most listings skip. A marked trail starts 500 metres from the door and another one 1.7 km away — you can walk out after breakfast and be back for lunch without touching the car.
We have measured 23 routes in the area ourselves, from the trail geometry and an elevation model: distance, total climb, walking time, and a GPX file for each. The nearest big lake, Solina, is a fifteen-minute drive; the high open ridges of the Bieszczady National Park are twenty-five minutes away.

Where exactly are the cabins?
In Bukowiec, Solina municipality, in the Polish Bieszczady mountains — about 15 minutes by car from the Solina reservoir and 25 minutes from the trailheads leading onto the high ridges. The address is Bukowiec 93, 38-610.
Can I book directly instead of through a portal?
Yes, and it costs 10–20% less than the same cabin on Booking.com or Airbnb, because there is no commission. In Urocza chata the sauna is also included rather than charged at 150 zł per night. We take a deposit for one night by bank transfer and the rest is paid on arrival.
Do you speak English?
Yes. The booking form itself is in Polish, but you are welcome to write to us in English at magdalena@biesczady.pl or call +48 509 981 786, and we will handle the reservation by email.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, 150 zł per animal for the stay. It matters here more than in most places: the cabins stand in a landscape park, not the national park, so the trails from the door can be walked with a dog. Dogs are banned on most national park trails.
Is the sauna included?
In Urocza chata, yes, when you book directly — portals charge 150 zł per night for it. It is a private Finnish sauna used only by your group, with no hourly booking. Domek na górze does not have a sauna.

The booking form, the confirmation emails and the text messages are in Polish only — we would rather say so than hand you a half-translated checkout. Write to us in English instead and we will handle the reservation by email: photos, dates, price and the bank details for the deposit.
